Top 100 Songs of all Time

Are everyone's #100 picks in yet??? I hope we can get this started before I go to bed tonight! I'm becoming way to addicted already!!

Including tranny, we now have ten people who, yes, HAVE turned in their #100 picks. Haven't gotten the #100 from W (yet).


Since staying up until midnight and posting the songs at 12:01am would certainly appease the masses, I don't think it's something I can do on a regular basis, as a poor night's sleep really affects me the next day at work. However, I will try to get into the habit of getting up a few minutes earlier than normal, logging on, and posting the songs before I go to work (roughly 6:30am Arizona time). On weekends, I sleep in, so I'll try for the 12:01am post-time there.

(Good thing NSpan isn't in charge of posting, given his penchant for sleeping WELL into the day.)

I actually don't give a damn what time it is in Australia, as I live in New Zealand, a full 2 hours ahead of Sydney in the east. But if you want to put it up at 8am for me which would be 12pm for you, I would be grateful Shrykey. [wink]


Seriously, as long as we are doing the one track per day we will still be waiting a full 24 hours between each track no matter what time it is posted, so as far as I'm concerned do whatever is most convenient for you.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I'm working my way back to front. I know it will be a lot harder to determine the order of the top few than it is to determine the back, So I'm doing that first, plus, we are counting down, so it made the most sense.

I found the opposite Geezer. The top 20 for me were obvious and easy to order whereas 80 to 100+ was the hardest to order and cut.

I'm goin' Geezer's route. I've still only sorted 100-81.

Its just that for me, I know I have at least 10 songs that on any given day could be my favorite. The fact that I don't have a number one in mind already is what makes me know it is going to be tough. And I have 3 months to change my mind, and I probably will. So basically, when we get down to the top 10-15 songs on my list, just know that they are all pretty equal in my mind, and where they fall on the list just happened to depend on my mood at the time.
