well i did follow it up with the 'but it's still pretty damn impressive'. I'm predicting though that The Princess & The Frog will probably be up there too

I'd put The Princess and The Frog at $165,000 per theatre on the first weekend.

Meanwhile, I expect Fantastic Mr. Fox to hit $65,000 per theatre on opening weekend (4 theatres).

I had An Education and Precious on most of my slates. We'll see how well Precious helps me out in the newest leagues. I want to see it for personal reasons but I don't want to see it too soon for game purposes. Slow expansion baby.

Endgame opened in 14 theatres with an abysmal $115 per theatre. Seriously, this is what happens when you debut a film on national television before opening in theatres.
