On a side note Toy Story 3 already has a 9.4 score on imdb.com with 1,290 votes.

Not as exciting of a weekend for the big dogs, but should be very interesting on the limited release front.

Can we officially call Jonah Hex a complete and epic failure?

Yes. 13% on Rotten Tomatoes and a final run time of 72 minutes without credits is just awful. Warner Bros. should have just buried the film in the fall and given Splice more of a shot to do well.

Also, I found out that Mastodon's score is still in the film...despite being rejected two months ago in favor of a score by Marco Beltrami. Did Beltrami realize that the movie was crap and left or did he simply not give a damn by just reusing older scores? Reminds me of how Danny Elfman had his Wolfman score rejected (not a very good score, by the way), to be replaced by a score by former Tangerine Dream member Paul Haslinger. Haslinger's score was rejected and replaced by....Danny Elfman!

Toy Story also has a 9.5 IMDb rating with over 1700 votes...

Toy Story was on the high end of the estimates, 110 mil. Damn. When this was FIRST announced, Way back in the days of actual Fantasy Moguls, I created the "Toy Story 3 is going to rake in 400 million dollars" thread/post (not sure which) but I never wavered from that prediction. And I think it will have the legs to get there. I put this on just about every slate, and I'm happy to say that I did. I can't wait to go check it out for myself tomorrow.

It's #11 on the Top 250 with a 9.4 rating, 8.8 counted with the Top 250 formula which is slightly different... We'll see where it levels out.

It's now number 8 with a UR of 9.3 (8.8 for 250)
