I can't believe they're making a new Godzilla movie. What a strange idea.

Christmas just got a little more crowded. Les Miserables has been moved to Christmas Day.

Battle of The Year 3D, that dance movie, moved from January 2012 to September. Sucks for whoever has it in the draft.

Ironically, both of those titles belong to Banks in the Draft League. He'll now have to replace I, Frankenstein.

Dammit, I was hoping for a good couple of weekends, guess that's better than having it bumped altogether, though.

New release dates:

Hitchcock 11/23/2012
So Undercover (the last gasp from Miley Cyrus's film career) 12/7/2012 (Open Road has become the distributor, picking it up from The Weinstein Company)
A Haunted House (horror comedy with Marlon Wayans) 1/11/2013
The Great Gatsby 5/10/2013 (from TBA 2013)

Open Road distributing So Undercover kind of guarantees it won't get dumped, since that's AMC distributing arm.

A horror movie spoof coming a week after a horror reboot/sequel/remake? Should at least match Dance Movie's total.

Open Road is only listing So Undercover as a limited release, so that sounds like 200-300 theatres.
