New Release Dates (All from Focus Features):

It's Kind of a Funny Story - Nov 2010
The Eagle of the Ninth - Fall 2010
The American - 9/1/09 (must be a typo)
Babies - 4/16/10
Greenberg - 3/12/10

New Ratings:

Leap Year, 1/18, PG
Sherlock Holmes, 12/25, PG-13
Avatar, 12/18, PG-13
It's Complicated, 12/25, R (pending appeal)

It's Complicated is definitely more adult-oriented, so do you really thing getting the rating down to PG-13 matters?

Wow, an R for It's Complicated? I guess it doesn't really matter, since mostly old people will be the ones seeing it, but still it's unexpected.

And Leap Year is a PG? Didn't they learn from Bride Wars and Confessions of A Shopaholic that women films that are not PG-13 or R usually kinda flop?

I wouldn't be surprised if Universal got the rating for Leap Year bumped up to a PG-13 because of PG-rated chick flicks not doing well (yes, you can get ratings bumped up).

Two more release dates:

Up In The Air 12/23/2009 wide (from 12/25/2009 wide)
The Runaways 3/19/2010 (the Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett biopic now has a distributor, I actually expected this to go straight-to-video in 2012 considering the lack of success from punk-type movies)

I think The Runaways will get a release (maybe only a small one). Musical biopics have done decent this decade, though there haven't been any in a while.

But films about rock music are box office poison. With all of the early backlash (especially over Stewart playing the lead), I don't expect much of a gross. This sounds like a case where Sony, not Appartion, picked up the film for DVD sales (especially from rental chains) and simply installed Appartion as a distributor for a possible theatrical run (the same thing happened with Black Dynamite and The Boondock Saints II).
