I was torn whether I wanted to see it. But I did, and I'm glad I did. It was a very good movie, and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the characters, despite the onslaught of Burtonesque whimsy and 3D color schemes. Depp was very good, Carter was terrific, and newcomer Mia Wasikowska was exceptional.

Well, it looks like we will never get to see Burton return to his glory days (the 1980's) ever again.

I don't really care either way about seeing it, but probably will if I get bored enough. Not really a big Burton fan. Usually is all style with no substance. Kinda like disco lol...
