Mission-Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 is being bumped up 2 days to July 12th.

Also out of Cinemacon, Paramount's upcoming Bob Marley biopic has officially been titled Bob Marley: One Love. Despite its commercial failure, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance Somebody still managed to make an impact on the industry after all.

One Love is a rather generic title and I'm sure a number of people would think of Raising Cane's or something else completely instead of Bob Marley, so I get why Paramount went with the final title.

I wonder what that means for it's award chances. Will it be skipping Venice/TIFF/etc.?

Probably premiering at Telluride.

And please don't quote the posts immediately before yours. We know what you're referring to every time.

It will most likely be in competition in Venice. Telluride too and a slight chance it opens Tiff on the 7th

Deadline implied that a Toronto screening was off the table and if that's true, a Venice/Telluride double dip seems like a pretty safe bet.

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget hits Netflix on November 10th. Zachary Levi and Thandiwe Newton are now voicing the leads, with Bella Ramsey voicing a new character who is the daughter of the original's main characters.

I'm still not sure as to why Sony believes Sydney Sweeney is going to be the next big thing. She's not even the lead on her show.

As for the film itself, it seems more like a day-and-date title than a holiday movie, given the B-/C+-level cast, hack director, and there having been few Australian movies that have had international appeal.

There's been a lot of buzz around it on social media, but that doesn't always translate to box office success.

I can give you two great reasons :D

Nah but seriously, the only non-Euphoria thing I've seen her in was The Voyeurs, but she was pretty good in that. And, of course, she's great in Euphoria, though she had nothing to do other than cry and yell in the 2nd season.

The film's gotten negative reviews and has been delayed a few times but neither have stopped Bleecker Street from scheduling a nationwide sneak preview for Golda on August 23rd, in tandem with Fathom Events. The screening will also have a Q&A with Helen Mirren and the director shown after.

I found out that even though it's scheduled for a January 12th date, El Muerto has yet to begin filming and doesn't even have a script or any idea of when shooting will begin. Could Harold and the Purple Crayon or a title currently scheduled for the fall or holiday season move to its spot?

Looking at Sony's slate, Harold and the Purple Crayon and Madame Web seem like the most likely contenders to move to that spot if they do indeed intend to still release a movie on that weekend.
