I was wondering if Fall was going to be limited or wide. It seems like a day-and-date title but I didn't see Grindstone credited alongside Lionsgate.

It's a wide release. The poster/trailer says only in theaters and the trailer is attached to at least some prints of Jurassic World.

The latest installment of CatVideoFest arrives in time for Independence Day weekend. There should be plenty of good ones to include this time.

The Knives Out sequel is officially titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Specific release date is still TBD, but Netflix has confirmed that it will come out during the "holiday season". Also, in case anyone's curious the billing under Daniel Craig is as follows:
Edward Norton
Janelle Monae
Kathryn Hahn
Leslie Odom Jr.
Jessica Henwick
Madelyn Cline
with Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista

Remember when it was rumored Adam Sandler was going to be in one of the sequels as Rian Johnson liked Murder Mystery? This one seems to lack the star wattage of the first film but I'm sure Johnson will be able to distract enough people into liking this one too.

Lionsgate and Roadside have acquired the North American rights to the Kevin Kline/Sigourney Weaver vehicle The Good House-which premiered at Toronto last fall and will release it theatrically on September 30th.

They haven't started casting for the 3rd one yet, so the dream is still alive.

I had a feeling Distant was getting delayed after a trailer wasn't made available with Dominion.

Glass Onion has an MPA rating (PG-13, like Knives Out was) so we could see this one in either October or November at the earliest. December for Netflix looks like where the Matilda remake and Paul Feig's new one (which is planned as the first in a new franchise) will be placed.

As long as it's delayed inside the yearly draft time frame, it's fine with me !

Michael Showalter is really starting to turn into one of the biggest hacks in Hollywood. From looking at his movies from The Big Sick to now, you would have never guessed that he was once considered a fresh comedic mind.

Why are they trying to do another Dirty Dancing sequel? Doing one, especially since Patrick Swayze's been dead for over a decade, really seems like a poor idea.
