Interesting. I enjoyed the first version. Very good psychological drama. One of Tim Robbins' better performances.

Shryke was wondering about Larrikins a while back. It has become a short film called Bilby which DreamWorks is going to release domestically later in the year for Oscar consideration.

A couple new Sony dates:

The Front Runner 11/7/2018 limited, 11/21/2018 wide (Sony seems to be high on this one, even if the similarly-aimed Chappaquiddick didn't do so well)
Escape Room 2/1/2019

Some shuffling by STX Entertainment:

Happytime Murders has been pushed back one week, from 8/17 to 8/24.

Meanwhile, Mile 22 has been moved to take HM's spot on 8/17.

I'm sure Boosh has a theory for this. :)

Well surely it was because that first week in Sept was way too overloaded with mid level films, and Mile 22 would compete with the MI6 audience. Meanwhile, Sept 24 only has Slender Man and that's a specific audience.

Plus it's a well-known fact that puppet-fucking plays better closer to Labor Day

Well sure, during the Great Depression Puppet Fucker was the only legit profession available, so that all adds up.

New Fox dates:

Stuber 5/24/2019
Ford v. Ferrari 6/28/2019
Spies in Disguise 9/13/2019 (from 4/19/2019)
Death on the Nile 12/20/2019 (from 11/8/2019)

And Jordan Peele has revealed that he is flirting with the idea to make Get Out 2. How is this going to work? The first film had a rather conclusive ending (unless he's using the original ending as his basis).

We're getting another Amazon Prime sneak preview through Sony. Hotel Transylvania 3 is being sneaked on June 30th.

Meanwhile, it looks like A Prayer Before Dawn finally got a new date of 8/10/2018. A24 would be smart to make this one day-and-date but will likely open it like they did How to Talk to Girls at Parties (one theatre followed by 100 with some splitting auditoriums).
