There's still so many open dates out there later this year and early next year. Me thinks the waiver wires are going to be the key to winning this year.

I have a feeling that the Black and Blue delay is to do more marketing for it (also, the film only started production in January but was filmed so quickly that it would have been ready in nine months). It looked as if Sony would dump it and then The Intruder opened well.

I have to wonder if Sony will also pick up Fatale, which is from the same director but is without distribution.

Wild Rose will now open wide on 6/21/2019, possibly to try to steal some of Yesterday's audience (the film basically looks like if Richard Curtis made Fish Tank and replaced the Bobby Womack tracks with country songs, correct me if I'm wrong, Six).

The Aeronauts will open exclusively on IMAX on 10/25/2019 before expanding wide a week later.
