Yeah $14 is high. In Dublin an evening ticket costs about $15, and $17 for a 3D film. I usually go to morning screenings as they're cheaper.

Over here in NZ tickets cost $15NZD ($10USD), $10NZD ($7.50USD) on Tuesdays and $18NZD ($12USD) for 3D. Avatar in 3d IMAX did cost $20NZD ($15 USD) though.

I had to pay $12.50 to see Avatar in 3-D because the ticket people wouldn't recognize me as a student (I can't get a student ID until the spring because the college's ID machine is broken).

You guys need to get a PT job at a movie theater. There's people at my theater who only work two shifts a week (usually sometime Sunday and Sat morning) and they get the full benefits of free movies whenever they want.

I was thinking of working at a movie theatre but after I saw a mouse running around an auditorium while watching Zombieland, I decided against it.

Ive worked at the movies for 3 years and I've only seen mice twice. They're there but they're not out in the open. But, meh.

Banks, you do know that I am afraid of rats and mice. I also refuse to work in the food service industry because of this (even though a friend of mine who used to be a waitress told me that most restaurants don't have rodent problems).
