I'm honestly surprised The First Omen isn't going straight-to-Hulu, especially given how the last Omen-related project, the TV show Damien, only got one season. Also, it being co-written by the director of the Firestarter remake doesn't suggest much promise.

Dune: Part Two has moved up two weeks to March 1st.
It's not destroying. It's making something new.

Assuming Kung Fu Panda 4 is delayed (no trailer alongside Trolls isn't a good sign), Dune will have 4 straight weeks to clean up until Ghostbusters is out. Very cool.

March is looking really desperate if the only things coming out are things angry white guys on the Internet have embraced.

Unfazed by Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret flopping back in April, Lionsgate has decided to adapt another reasonably well-known young adult novel of the past, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, with the head of Angel Studios directing for some reason (I do not remember this book being religious, outside of it taking place in a church, or having a political slant at all). It's opening on 11/15/2024.

Disney has apparently let go of The Bikeriders, and Regency is now searching for a new distributor.

Disney seemed like a weird choice to produce a drama about motorcyclists that's not at all like Sons of Anarchy.

It seems right up Apple or Netflix's alley but if Jeff Nichols doesn't want it to be a streaming title, A24 could emerge as a favorite as they tend to like a guy like Nichols.

Those will be some empty auditoriums on the weekend of January 5th, given how when I saw the director's two previous films, I was the only one in the theatre both times.

I have no intention of seeing if lightning strikes thrice.

Here's a release date announcement that made me do a double take: Nosferatu is set to release on Christmas Day 2024.

Ghost stories on Christmas Eve are a wonderful old English tradition, but a vampire movie on Christmas Day does seem odd, or genius counter-programming.

It wouldn't be the first time. Dracula 2000, that really bad modernization of the story with Gerard Butler in the title role, was a Christmas release.
