I have been SLAMMED with new requests to join RS. In the last few days, I have activated over 30 new accounts.

I know way back when we were inundated with spambots, but I could usually tell what those were because the usernames chosen were strings of incoherent letters. Some of these new ones appear to be names created by actual people.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? I know Nico's been advertising our boards, so could that be the reason for this influx?

A lot of them seem to be spammers.

Just delete the accounts as they show themselves. Right now I deleted spam threads by:

DLKKEF
AnthonyRhirl
Leroyslilk

Thanks. I will delete those accounts. Wonder what prompted this sudden onrush. How do we put the shields back up?
