So what say ye? We're getting a little close aren't we? I still think we should do both.

And how can people vote for 1a and then not vote 3a? How are you going to vote to replace a film and then not be able to replace them after January?

b. can NOT be replaced.

a. 15 movies

d. 02.01.2010; 1st of February

b. the sum of the box offices calculated until 02.27.2011, according to BOM (exactly like in 2009); in case of equality (the same chosen movies), the winner will be the one with the total specified closer to actual total of Top 10 movies of 2010.

c. both versions; let's give it a try...

sorry if my votes are too late. Either way, what are the official rules and when can i put together a slate?

I waited too much... for your votes...

After JUST 10 votes:

1. the movies:
a. can be replaced, if they are not already released;
b. can NOT be replaced.

4 for a, 6 for b

2. you can choose:
a. 15 movies
b. 10 movies

6 for a, 4 for b

3. sign up date until:
a. anytime in 2010, but (of course) you can't choose the movies already released
b. 01.01.2010; 1st of January
c. 01.14.2010; 14th of January
d. 02.01.2010; 1st of February
e. 03.01.2010; 1st of March

1 for a, 3 for c, 7 for d (J.I. voted c or d)

4. the algorithm for calculating the TOT$ for each participant:
a. depending of the rank specified by participant - percentage of total cume (until 02.27.2011) of the movie specified: 1 - 100%, 2 - 95%, 3 - 90% ...14 - 35% and 15 - 30%; please see the above example; in case of equality (the same chosen movies, in the same order), the winner will be the one with the total specified closer to actual total of Top 10 movies of 2010.
b. the sum of the box offices calculated until 02.27.2011, according to BOM (exactly like in 2009); in case of equality (the same chosen movies), the winner will be the one with the total specified closer to actual total of Top 10 movies of 2010.

2 for a, 8 for b

5. you want to be a player of the:
a. new version
b. the old version
c. both versions; let's give it a try...

2 for a, 3 for b, 5 for c

LET's NOT waste TIME anymore!

SO, what I propose to you, after seeing your votes is:

1. we'll play 2 versions!; everyone invited :D if you want to play just the old version, fine by me, just the new version - OK, both (let's give it a try) - PERFECT! :D
2.1. version No. 1 - will be the same like the last 2 years: 10 movies, un-replaceable, the winner will be the one with the greatest sum of the box offices calculated until 02.27.2011, according to BOM (exactly like in 2009 and 2008); in case of equality (the same chosen movies), the winner will be the one with the total specified (of the 10 movies) closer to actual total of Top 10 movies of 2010;
2.2 version No. 2 - 15 movies, which can be replaced, if they are not already released,; the winner will be the one with the greatest sum - depending of the rank specified by participant - percentage of total cume (until 02.27.2011) of the movie specified: 1 - 100%, 2 - 95%, 3 - 90% ...14 - 35% and 15 - 30%; please see the example on the 1st page; in case of equality (the same chosen movies, in the same order), the winner will be the one with the total specified closer to actual total of Top 10 movies of 2010.
3. sign up date for both versions will be until: MARCH 4th - friends know why ;)

LET'S PLAY :!: :!: :!:

May the BEST win!

@undeadmonkey: for v2 (the one with 15 movies) you can replace any movie you want as long as it's not already released...
you'll be able also to move them (from rank 4 to rank 10 for example)...
if a movie is already released, its rank will be locked...

MARCH 4th is the lock date for v1 (the one with 10 movies) - after that they can't be replaced...

so HURRY UP!
