I can't recall the last time Jason Reitman made a good movie. If he didn't have a famous father, he'd be nothing more than the director of some episodes of forgettable sitcoms.

As for the premise, this sounds as unnecessary as that David O. Russell project about the creation of the Madden games that was in the works. Will Ferrell was going to play everyone's favorite color commentator.

I look at it as taking a big swing on the first pitch instead of bunting. Sure, you’re less likely to get a hit but if you do get it, you’re thrilled. And worst case, you still have 2 more strikes (the waiver wire)
