We'll let Banks decide what he picks. If he doesn't take Tarot, youcan have it, Walleye.

Agreed. No point in wasting a perfectly mediocre film
Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
The latest of the increasingly rare group of movies not screened for critics. It seems like only Sony still chooses to do this on things they know are bad.

Walleye, if you want Tarot, have at it. We can make it official in about 25 minutes if Banks doesn't pick it first.

Well, it's been more than 12 hours now that Banks was supposed to pick, so Walleye, Tarot is officially yours.
Banks, pick whenever you arrive, because now Ron can pick whenever he wants.

Hmm ok, sorry Banks. I'll select Kinds of Kindness (/And?), honestly haven't had any time to research TBD titles, working away but this looks like it has the pedigree to do better than $20m, which I'll take over a goose egg at this point.

I'll give Banks a few minutes to potentially arrive before picking myself. Ron, how long before you're out on your part of the world ? Because once I pick, Six will pick pretty fast too and it's soon gonna back to you.

I'll give Banks another 15 minutes, it will be 1 hour after his 12-hour window expired. Then I'll pick.

I know I can count on you, the Irish Londoner.
If Banks shows up, I hope he'll have the decency of not picking the film I'm about to choose.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Sorry guys, weird night for me last night.
I've no interest in Tarot so no harm, no foul.
I'll go ahead and take The Forge. It's the Kendrick Brothers, and I actually watched it in January at a pre-screening. It's about on par as the rest of their stuff, but they all seem to make around $40M so hopefully that continues.
Also filmed completely in Charlotte, which is nice (I live in Charlotte currently so the audience went wild for all the establishing shots).

Thank you Banks, I didn't have my sight on The Forge this round !
I'll go with Never Let Go. Aja's horror films are always good for 30/40 million, and Halle Berry's name will help.

I'm going to take
Possum Trot (or whatever it's going to be called)
And hope that the July 4th date and Angel Studios' push will make it do better than the usual Christian fare
and
White Bird
I know, it's been delayed and delayed, and go go straight to VOD, but perhaps the cast and WWII themes will make it watched

I'll take The Amateur. It's far away, and if it sticks to its date will only have 3 weeks in the game, but in round 9, it's still a film with an good pedigree and strong profile.

Why am I not surprised Letitia Wright's now working with Angel Studios. To go from Marvel to Evangelical fare in two years is quite the fast drop.
