Yeaaaaaah, it's gonna be hard stopping him. He will have his 300M+ needed for sure. And unless Beau is Afraid or The Covenant are unexpected instant megahits ( ), we won't grab him.

Well now, I'll battle Six for the silver medal. Even though D&D is taking a hit and makes it unlikely. But AIR is playing well. Meh.

Over the moon with Mario's performance. I'm going to take up plumbing to properly show my gratitude.

I would never, in a hundred years, have guessed that Mario would win this thing in the end. Congrats, my friend. The crown is yours!

STANDINGS (up until April 9 included)
Mario not only breaks bricks, he can also make Tranny fly. Still 4th last weekend, Tranny just passed Screen and myself by and arrived directly second, giving Six another week to breathe. We now all know the name of our 2022/23 annual draft. But we’ll still wait another 3 weekends to celebrate him. By the way, Tranny and myself both crossed the billion bar this weekend, joining Six in the club. I may have given up on the gold, but I’ll still battle the Irish for second, although it’s far fetched.
In the basement, Ron just left Boosch behind, but Evil Dead and George Foreman will help Boosch make it the other way around at the end. In the middle, between Screen in 4th and Shryke in 7th, it’s highly probable the rankings are set in stone. Unless The Pope’s Exorcist is a smash hit.

1. Six - $1,089,930,231 (2 films - Cocaine Bear, Avatar 2)
2. Tranny - $1,003,897,316 (3 films - Super Mario Bros, A Thousand and One, Shazam!)
3. Chien - $1,001,354,795 (3 films - AIR, Dungeons & Dragons, Champions)
4. Screen - $870,460,312 (1 film - Puss in Boots : The Last Wish)
5. Walleye - $768,019,750 (2 films - Scream VI, Jesus Revolution)
6. Spectre - $723,797,478 (1 film - A Good Person)
7. Shryke - $717,520,287 (3 films - The Lost King, Creed III, Violent Night)
8. Ron B - $432,661,947 (2 films - John Wick, 65)
9. Buscemi - $431,836,770 (2 films - Ant-Man, A Man Called Otto)

The following film appears to be done :
The Whale (Chien, 9th round) = $17,453,440

4/14
The Pope’s Exorcist (Walleye, WW)
Renfield (Spectre, 9th round)
Suzume (Chien, WW)

4/21
Evil Dead Rises (Buscemi, WW)
The Covenant (Chien, WW)
Beau is Afraid (Six, WW)

4/28
Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (Walleye, 5th round)
Big George Foreman (Buscemi, 9th round)

The paradox of the draft. Hating to wait too long for the guy ahead of you to pick, but at the same time, not wanting the draft to go too quickly because it's just so damn fun.

And the joy of waking up in the morning knowing it's finally your turn, and hoping you got one of your top picks.
