Aladdin is clearly the pick of the litter from Round 2. Anyone want to make a case for the second best pick?

I'm sure Hobbs & Shaw will be a fantastic Round 2 pick.Walleye413 wrote:Aladdin is clearly the pick of the litter from Round 2. Anyone want to make a case for the second best pick?

Agreed. And "Mulan" may end up with numbers roughly between those two titles, as well.
As for Round 2's biggest BUST: My money's on "MiB", tho "Joker" and "Terminator" must be considered strong contenders, as well.

...Matter of fact, I don't think half the films in Round 2 will claw their way to $200M.
Meantime, Round 3 is looking pretty strong. Wouldn't surprise me if Three did nearly as much business as Two.

Re: 2019-20 Full Year Slates (Division A)
While it has bombed a little more than I had hoped, MiB was a Round 3 movie for me. I an hoping Kong can be a bit more successful than Godzilla and balance the scales though. And Spidey seems to be doing just fine, so while not a stellar start, it has been steady.NicodemustheSage wrote:Agreed. And "Mulan" may end up with numbers roughly between those two titles, as well.

Well, Stuber isn't gonna be the breakout comedy I was hoping it could be...

I mean -- [looking around at the dingy furniture, posters of movies that were never released, and Nicholas Cage's resume, crumpled up and coffee-stained under the La-Z-Boy] -- I've been here, before. Most of last season, actually. Way it goes. Color me unsurprised.
