Best looking lineup so far: Surfer's (despite having potential flop Gulliver's Travels)

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
Can't he swap it out once all picks are in?
And it looks like I'll be the one making the late charge.... I've got four picks from 2011 so far; no one else has any more than two.

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
Yep, but technically all films will be on waivers, so he'd use his waiver slot up...
Unless you guys want to allow him to switch the pick out for something that is not drafted with no repercussions whatsoever. He'd still be "punished" (that's not the word I'm looking for, but close enough) for picking Zookeeper, but would basically be forced to trade his 5th rounder for a 10th. I think that's the fair thing to do, but it will need the support of 3 others not named SilverSurfer for a majority.
The third option is to wait until the draft is over and let him have a compensation pick.

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
I'm going to make an executive decision and make an exception that if your film is moved (and only then) during the draft, you can replace it. Unless there's some kind of riot for changing the rules, that is...

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
By the way, I didn't see this thread and went ahead and replaced it anyway. Hope that is ok. I hate it when you get punished (and it was the right word) for picking a movie which has more potential than at first thought.
Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
It's fine (unless there's some kind of riot). But please edit your post in the other thread since Banks has eight or ten hours left to pick.
BTW, I kind of feel like I got "punished" when Green Hornet moved, but this is worse.

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
Looks like Jonah Hex won't be needing that question mark anymore. It is indeed opening on June 18th (according to the new poster).
And the film is finally being tested and early word is nothing short of terrible. Ain't It Cool News's critics trashed the film and they almost never give anything a bad review.

Re: 2010-11 Full Year Slates
Films that I'm betting get pushed back:
Alpha and Omega (five months before opening and absolutely nothing is out for it, not even promotional photos)
Burlesque (it seems like the type of thing that goes straight-to-DVD, not as a big Thanksgiving release)
Red Dawn (Due to MGM's financial troubles and Faster opening the same day, also MGM doesn't even have anything out for it. Hell, the website on the Internet is a fan site.)
Cheaters (It's May and the film is still casting. Also, a Ron Howard film opening in January? Really?)
The Dark Fields (Rogue has Sanctum opening two weeks earlier)
Battle: Los Angeles (seems more like a summer release)

Shryke:
The Factory has been pushed back from January 28th to an undetermined date later in the year. You may want to replace it.
