Okay, last pick time.

I considered the camp value of Piranha 3D, the demographic appeal of Lottery Ticket, the preteen factor of Ramona and Beezus, the cast of Faster, and the late-in-the-game prospects of Drive Angry and Bobbie Sue.

But in the end, I'll take Just Wright, because it's been advertised fairly well and may be good counterprogramming to all the May giants. And if it isn't, well, c'est la vie. If it makes $30 million, I'll be more than satisfied.

Bobbie Sue has been indefinitely delayed so that wouldn't have been a good pick.

A part of me wanted to take Babies, and hope for March of the Penguins, but really how often does a documentary break out

Risky pick. The Boden and Fleck team have never had a breakout hit despite being critical darlings (they were the people behind Half Nelson and Sugar).

Uhhhh, I'm torn between Going The Distance, Splice, and The Dark Fields.

But after reading a synopsis for The Dark Fields, I will take it.

I don't really think a 12th rounder can be considered "risky" as there's only like five films that are going to be gone that I had a shot at. But anyways, if you look at my roster, I don't know if I have a non-risky pick at all. Meet the Little Fockers is probably the safest one I have and who knows if that moves to summer or not. I kind of figured I played it too safe last year, and since Avatar won it for UDM last year (a pretty risky pick), this year I figure I'd go the other way... Especially since I got the first pick after the "pretty much assured $200 M" films were gone.

I'll take Anton Corbijn's sophmore effort, The American, and hope Clooney brings in some box office as well as awards.

I will make a pick totally out of left field and take Danny Boyle's 127 Hours. Seeing that it is filming, it should be out for Oscar season and maybe get lucky and gross some of Slumdog Millionaire's numbers. And seeing that people like James Franco, they probably won't mind no dialogue in the first hour or the fact that he cut off his arm to survive.

If you've already drafted, please PM me your lists of films that went undrafted. I'll be posting them later tonight after the last pick is made.

I was thinking about the possibility of expanding the draft. Several movies will go undrafted and I think that people could stand to have bigger slates. Also, last year had twice as many entrants and we still got the draft completed.

Also, I sent you a huge list of undrafted titles. Some of those undrafted movies have the possibility to break out.
