On retrospect I really should have picked Solo ahead of Avengers Infinity Wars

There's not too many films I really wanted but missed out on. Timing when you draft first or last is really hard, there's such a long gap between picks. I really wanted Crazy Rich Asians - but I didn't want to overreach on that just because I was so high on it. And I wanted Happytime Murders, I think it could be a real sleeper, but I was surprised that went as early as it did. Apparently I wasn't the only one with that sentiment.

I think my slate hinges on Picks 1 and 3. If I guessed right there I should be top 3. If not, it could get ugly. unless a few of my late picks really surprise.

Pretty happy with Overboard already - it'll net me 30+ million it would appear, which is better than my previous 8th round picks, so, Wahoo for mediocrity!

somehow I think these two weeks at the top will be all I'll get this season. And the view is so pretty...

Also, looking at the slate, I think the most exciting one is Jas's. Any one of his Top 3, if not all, could surprise and win him the game. Let's see...

Taking a look at everyone's slates, I'd say that beyond my own, which I like very Much (again, thank You Six), I'd Say That the more solid seems to me to ne Boosch's.

Yeah Boosch took a conservative approach this year, with few TBAs. Was that intentional Boosch. I thought Mamma Mia wasa great pick. Think we underestimate how well this will do. The Greatest Showman kinda revived the singalong musical (besides Frozen of course) and Mamma Mia and possibly A Star is Born (and hopefully Bohemian Rhapsody) can capitalise on that.

Picks I'm most produc of: Bohemian Rhapsody, Glass (think it'll do better than Split), Beale Street (there will be a huge push for this). So basically I tried this year to get stronger or at least more reliable mid-level picks.

Picks I'm most jealous of: Mamma Mia 2, Dumbo (thought it would fall to me, and it could be huge), A Star is Born, First Man (although it's hella risky as a 3rd round pick), Us (well risked, Geezer), The Happytime Murders (the biggest wildcard of the whole draft), Hereditary (which will make anything from 10m to 100m).

Welcome to picking last

It was a borderline 4th round pick and I knew it wasn't going to come back 18 picks later to me in Round 5 so it was either take it there or not own it or Halloween. I almost took Skyscraper because it has a much higher floor but the lower ceiling made me pass. I needed to take some risks picking from that spot because I don't stand a chance at winning if I don't have at least a couple things break out.

Yes and no, Six. A lot of my picks were just me scrambling to find something but at the same time, it was a lot like getting a good deal seeing some of these fall to me.

As for my one TBA, I'm convinced this could be the Untitled Warner Bros. Event Film for Christmas.
