I probably shouldn't have frontloaded. The 15:17 to Paris looked like a hit until the reviews came out while the horror community disappointed me again (they demanded a Strangers sequel and then they didn't show up).

The way I currently see it, Avengers will get a bump from Sex Panther, and hit around the $500m mark, up from Ultron's 459. But Avengers has Deadpool and Solo ready to attack.

Solo may be the least successful SW film, but that should still mean a solid return - I'm thinking $350 at the moment. And Jurassic World 2 won't make close to the original, but after 2 weekends I'm thinking it could scratch out about $200m. So that's 550 Vs Avengers 500. Of course, it's all pure guesswork so I might have a panic attack and change at the end of the month, who knows?

Let's see if it's possible to win without Avengers here:

A quiet Place - 13
A Miracle Season - 2
Action Point - 12
The Incredibles 2 - 35
Jurassic World 2 - 37
And how about $1 movie. I'll pick Father Amorth.
