Leland Palmer was in that?

But anyway, does Danza hold up two places with candy bars?

No, but Yasmine will ride him while he's driving in a high speed chase. And of course Henry Rollins needs to be following along saying "What the hell are they doing!?!"

and in a sick twist of fate Alyssa Milano will play the cop that shoots Tony Danza in the end as he gets ready to pull the candy bar out of his pocket.

I'm thinking. I'm at work right now. Yes, I do have a day job.

I was hoping Transformers would fall to me, but I should have realized the odds of transformers not picking Transformers was slim to none, because, you know. Transformers.

I'm trying to decide between Cars 3 and Apes 3, both of which COULD earn $200M or they could peter out at $150M (it's early enough in the draft that $50M is a big deal). Then again, I may take a flyer with a risky pick since I don't pick again for a while. Give me four hours, and I'll have my pick in.

Screw it. I'll take War of the Planet of the Apes and hope it can match its predecessors' numbers. The trailers look badass, I must say. I can't imagine it doing less than $150M. $200 is a stretch, but at this point, I'll take it.

While waiting on Banks or if he'll get skipped at 5:14 am, it makes me wonder if the WGA strike will happen (no news yet but the deadline is apparently at midnight Pacific time). It will certainly change the scope of 2018's schedule if the strike goes through (and I don't expect it to be any easier than the past strikes, due to the billions that the industry is sitting on that they will refuse to give up).

Food for thought on those late titles. Meanwhile, something tells me it will make a lot of titles without dates (many Blumhouse titles) or even distributors (I'm looking at you, LBJ, the rare case of a $50 million movie that failed to find distribution after its premiere) hot properties.

Edit: apparently a deal has been reached. But I won't believe it until the ink has dried.

After last year's disaster of a draft, maybe I'll stay away from risks. I'll take Pitch Perfect 3.

Ha! I should probably take note, but I can't help myself. There's still plenty of solid movies to come, but none I feel with the potential of Ready Player One. I was burned last year by Spielberg with The BFG, but he gets one more chance after giving me a love of movies in the first place. It could be the next The Matrix or Avatar, it could bomb like Ghost In The Shell or Ender's Game. I have to take some risks though if I want to climb back up to Division A, though, so I'm all in for RPO!

I wanted to take a risk but can't pull the trigger so early. I'll go with Jumangi
