for some reason it says that you made this comment at 5:30 AM. is that correct?
Don't know what time it is on your end of the world Monkey, but I can tell you W made this comment 2 hours ago.

Ummmm.... I'm going with The Emoji Movie....

It's getting a ton of hate because of the subject, but this is a great cast: Anna Faris, TJ Miller, Steven Wright... Sir Patrick Stewart plays poop. What more can you ask for? I'm hoping for Trolls numbers, I'll settle for Angry Birds.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

Have to say the picks are going pretty much as expected. Only 2 surprises have been pirates going at number 4 and The Star. I have a feeling things are about to get interesting and unpredictable in the next few picks.

its 10:30AM my time. so to me he made it 5 hours ago.

so there is something wrong with my time zoning. it's not that i don't see the comments, but when they do show up, they have an earlier time

So you may be set to pacific time but you are in central time zone. Not sure how to change that.

was able to fix it. it's under control panel and then under board preferences.

now that i can talk about it. I was burned so bad with How to Train your dragon 2 a few years ago, i vowed to never take an animated film that wasn't Nemo in the 1st round ever again. Also, i'm just so tired of superhero films and that only left Pirates or Transformers to take (I prefer pirates ;) ) . To be fair I would have take Guardians if it had fallen to me. However, sooner or later the bubble is going to pop on superhero films, see what happened to my Xmen pick last year.

I watched that x-men apocalypse the other day. It was pretty crap, maybe the worst x-men movie ever. Don't think superhero movies are done for a good few years yet.

Was kinda hoping the trailer would be released while I was on the clock but looks like it's coming tomorrow. I'll gamble and take The Dark Tower. If it's good it's gonna have August all to itself to gobble up all the monies.

NOoooo, And like that the Stephen King adaptions are gone.

I think there is huge potential with both films but also very risky and I just couldnt pick them yet.

It is on a notoriously weak weekend, highest grossing movie ever to be released that Labor Day weekend is Halloween (2007) and it only grossed $58M. And i just really wanted to see the trailer for The Dark Tower before taking it. Honestly they could both make $50M, but they could a easily make double or triple that.

Get out proved that a weak weekend means nothing if the film has enough buzz behind it.

That said I wanted The Dark Tower wayyyyyy more
