I'm curious how long I can stay out of the basement. I'm done til October now. Got to say, I'm much happier with my Tarzan pick than I have any right to be for now. Whose 5th rounder will beat it?

I think a few could. Inferno's apparently not too bad, Allied could get Zemeckis's groove back, and The Dark Tower's been highly anticipated for a few years. Also, there's the outside chance of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage being a sleeper hit (Paramount is tailoring it to be their Fast and Furious franchise).

In my case, we'll have to see how good Ghostbusters' legs are in comparison to Tarzan's. Nine Lives ain't gonna get me much (Kevin Spacey, you are BETTER than this).

Shaan and myself are going to be neck and neck for the next few weeks, with any film's over or under performance changing who gets the #1 spot. It's at the end of Sept, when Storks comes out, that Shaan will sprint ahead.

But if either The Birth of a Nation or All Eyez on me (currently slated for Nov) break out, then I have a fighting chance of getting back to the top just before Rogue One destroys us both.
