First ? You mean Alice ? I would have said second, considering Neighbors 2 kind of was one too...

Speaking of flops, I'd be surprised if Popstar made $10 million this week. Who is the audience for this years too late parody of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never?

If not for the cast and the $20 million budget, it would have been a Focus World title.

I don't think the budget is high enough for popstar to be considered a flop even if it makes under 10 mil. Alice in wonderland had a 175 mil plus budget thats why its considered a flop. Neighbors 2 while it has disappointing box office numbers will still easily make its budget back. POPSTAR is gonna be more of a cult hit like hot rod, office space, mcgruber etc. and will make money off music as well. I think it looks funny and maybe with good reviews it will do a little better than expected. I never saw never say never. I think people that like lonely island are the audience for this or people that like funny comedies.

Still, making less than half the money the first one made is a flop.

True I guess what I mean is it won't lose the studio money so not quite a BOMB like Alice which will lose the studio a ton of money. Game wise I was going out on a limb taking ghostbusters over alice and its looking like the right decision now.

It looks indeed like a wise decision right now, just like I'm happy I took Assassin's Creed over Neighbors 2. Maybe time will tell us they were not better options after all, but for now we can hope they are ;)

I'm sure everyone expected the new Alice to do significantly less than the first one, but no one could have anticipated its star being accused of beating his wife a few days before his family-friendly, female-skewing movie hit theaters. If this doesn't blow over, Johnny Depp could be the next Mel Gibson, a former A-lister who is now a pariah.

I wouldn't worry. Most big films have reshoots, it's par for the course.

but if reports are to be believed they are calling for extensive reshoots to change the tone of the film, doesnt sound like the usual scheduled reshoots.

Wow, looking at that calendar it feels so weird having movies out so early in the draft season. I usually spend the first six months looking up on those sprinting ahead of me, hopefully TMNT can kickstart my campaign and lead me on a charge up the table!

I was really expecting better from The Nice Guys. Thankfully it was a Round 9 pick.

I just read on the HSX forums (so take it for what it's worth) that they are planning on reshooting 40% of Rogue One!!! Holy fuck...don't you guys think, if that's true, the movie would get pushed back?
