I just noticed that, as of right now, I have at least one movie coming out every month during the season. That wasn't intentional, but it'll help keep things interesting instead of having months go by without any of my releases coming out. And it'll help me avoid any extended downturns at the box office caused by winter storms, Sharknados, or Trumpocalypses.

Well this year I don't have many 2017 films. The TBA films I have will most likely be dated for the end of the year, so I only have 3 2017 films.
I think it's gonna be a pretty competitive season, the slates are dense, it should be fun once more !!

And Surfer has only four scheduled 2017 films with a date. WTF?

Still not sure what Rogue One will do, but i must Say John Erle probably has the best slate. The other slates look pretty even to me.

Mmmm... I think the more balanced slate is Surfer's so that's my favorite (outside of my own, obviousy).

Is anyone going to be doing a waiver wire for the A league? I'll do it if no one else is going to but I don't know how to build out an initial list of films.

Yeah, I would be pissed at those Neighbors numbers had I drafted it in round #3. W's is definitely better.

I was hoping for $150-170 M for Angry Birds. Going by similar animated openings, it looks like $130-140 M is closer. I was happy when it fell to me with the last pick in round 3. The only one I was for sure would do better in R3 was Wolverine. I probably would have taken Ice Age ahead of it and it would have been a toss up between Birds, Magnificent 7, and Assassin's Creed.

I'll be so pissed if Xmen flops. the only thing getting me through Neighbors 2 flopping and the bad reviews for Xmen is apparently Beauty and the Beast is breaking Star Wars trailer launch records, so here's to it breaking opening weekend records too.

Supposedly X-Men is tracking for an opening around DoFP. I think you'll be alright there, DoFP had crappy legs too like I think this will. And Beauty and the Beast is going to be huge. I had it graded out as my 6th overall movie and higher than X-Men (even though I knew it wouldn't go that high).

I'm with you on Beauty and the Beast, I think it's going to be a top 10 pick, but was hoping I could still grab it in the second round too.

Still so pissed I rushed that pick. Beauty and the Beast would have been mine. Oh well, doubt it will matter when Rogue One makes 750 mil
