Yeah, Conjuring will be a healthy Round 4 pick. Aquamann will keep the lead for quite a while with his #2 film opening in a month, if Ghostbusters lives up to its potential.

The closer we get to GB, the more I think it's going to bomb. The trailers are terrible and not funny.

Same goes for Independence Day (minus the funny).

Surprisingly, I don't think Central Intelligence looks funny...none of the trailers have made me laugh. I'm shocked based on on the cast...I would have thought the Rock and Hart would have brought the laughs.

Dory and Pets seem like they're going to be huge.

I still can't get a pulse on BFG...I think I want it to do well, but my brain is telling me dud.

Independence Day is going to go just fine. It won't be Jurassic World, but heck, nobody really loved the trailer for JWorld, but everyone wanted to see it out of curiosity. It will be the same on a less giant scale. Who doesn't want to go see, in the middle of summer, a giant blockbuster with a global alien attack that is a sequel to one of the biggest films of the 90's ?

Am I the only one to think that all weekend predictions for Resurgence are underestimating it ?

3 months ago I thought this was going to be the Jurassic World of the summer, but now I'm much less sure.

I've been skeptical on Resurgence since it was announced and that skepticism remains in tact today. I'd be extremely surprised if it exceeded a $60-65 mil opening.

Very early projections are pegging it in the low 40's for opening.

Yeah, I was going to say $65 would be excellent. Kind of wish I'd went with Dory or CI in FML.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.
