Thats why I think 10th is actually a nice spot to pick. Strong one, two punch right there!

Moving quickly there, good.
Getting to pick two films at once is a good thing yeah, I liked that last year. And that's two picks with true potential for W. With Dr. Strange and Star Trek, Geezer has two strong and safe picks. Can't wait to see what UDM is taking next. I already know I'll be glad about my next pick.

Damn W - 2 picks at the end of the round that went much higher up on our side. I think that's a great start to the draft for you.

Not so sure about Star Trek Beyond. Buzz has been negative and for a big franchise film, there's really been little in the way of marketing.

I get the feeling that the fans are really waiting for Bryan Fuller's Star Trek series premiering early next year.
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

This is the best game. I love the year long draft. Gets you really into all the movies coming in the next year plus the strategy and predictions of what movies will break out.

Did W pick Moana? His avatar covered up the first part of his response on my end?

Can't believe Secret Life of Pets was picked so late here. I think it has the potential to hit 300m. You winners make no sense to me.

Pets and Moana is a great set of swing picks. Both could be huge.

After a great nights sleep and more time to process last nights GOT episode, my head seems clearer today or maybe the alcohol just wore off. Seriously though, if there was a movie coming out over the next year about Tyrion I would pick it.

While there are 2 movies i would love to have, I just can't justify choosing them so soon, one is such a wildcard and i could see the other one moving past our year. So I'm going to take Beauty and the Beast, Disney has been basically printing money with their animation to live action remakes and i can see this one being huge.

I also would have liked to have Dr Strange, but it could easily perform like Ant Man and Ant Man isnt a first rounder

Well UDM, you make the task easy for me. I was consdering two films for my #2 pick and Beauty and the Beast was one of them.

Therefore, here's one I wouldn't have taken in round 1 because it only has 3 weekends for itself, but I'll gladly take it as my #2 film because it's good for at least $200M in those 3 weekends. And hey, they could even move it up a week or two if Universal was smart.
Fast & Furious 8 for me.

Thanks everybody! HSX is down and I couldn't get my google docs to open up on my phone for some funny reason so I had to wait an hour and a half or so until I could get into work. I really wanted to take something that definitely won't get back to me 19 picks later but I had to be realistic. I was going to say that hopefully Moana is more Frozen, less Tangled... but then I realized Tangled made $200 M. And my daughter is really excited for Secret Life of Pets and she doesn't typically steer me wrong.
