Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been very well marketed, as I've been seeing trailers before not only with the big tentpole movies but family films and R-rated movies as well. And the Times Square show Nickelodeon's been doing is good cross-promotion. $150 million is very possible.
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

TMNT won't do as much as the first, but it should do alright. Passengers is getting picked much too soon in both divisions. A space movie from no existing property opening against Star Wars is either ballsy or stupid, time Will tell. I wouldn't ne surprises if the release date changed.
Kong is a good pick for 2nd round.

as for the TNMT pick, The first did well in August so an earlier summer slot bodes well for it, but I still think there other picks that will definitely make more
I'm cnot so sure there are, UDM. Yes, some of the remaining movies may make more, but nothing I would say definitely would. I wanted to play a little safer this round and think TMNT is the safest and should be good for at least $150m, which is a decent platfprm to build on.

Kong is a great pick but I'm absolutely terrified that it gets bumped to May. If not, it's going to easily be worth it.

I've thought about my pick for a while and I'm going to go with Jason Bourne. Greengrass is back, Damon is back (and hot coming off The Martian success last year) and the marketing is 100% about Bourne which is what they need after the Renner disaster. Not a super huge fan of where it is on the calendar but I'm hoping that a PG-13 will allow it some legs in front of Suicide Squad's R. We'll see if Damon can drive a rebound. Feels a lot like my MI5 pick last year.

I'm just disappointed because you picked a movie that's going to come out in 45 days! How can you backload now!

Solid pick, Spectre. I would have probably picked the same at your place.

Thanks, wish something else had fallen to me so I didn't have to decide but apparently you guys know what you're doing. ;)

Ghostbusters a gamble with all the bad buzz around the trailer but I think it has the highest upside of the movies remaining and a fairly high floor even with the bad buzz.

Ah, screw it. Overthinking it didn't help last year, so I'll go with Alice Through The Looking Glass and Ice Age 5

I think sing is a great pick at this point. Lot of upside especially its release date...would have been my next pick

Thanks that makes me feel a little better. Theres 2 specific movies I was back and forth on along with Sing. I doubt any of them make it back to me anyway. The only concern I had with Sing is that I don't really see a history of December animation releases doing well at the box office.
