Man, what a nailbiter between John and Tranny!

Can't believe my garbage slate is going to end up making $1B after all those misses...

Yeah, you kind of crapped out with Good Dinosaur and Terminator: Genisys, but you got great numbers from Jungle Book, Mission Impossible and Daddy's Home.

Here is some wrap-up show analysis.

ROUND ONE:

Best pick: Star Wars (#2, Geezer) - Duh. It was going to be huge, but DOUBLE Age of Ultron? Yikes.

Worst pick: The Good Dinosaur (#9, Spectre) - Well, Pixar's 20-year-long hot streak is over. Sorry, Spectre.

Surprise pick: Jurassic World (#6, Brockster) - I'm sure nobody thought this would make more than Batman vs Superman and Hunger Games put together.

ROUND TWO:

Best pick: Zootopia (#16, Banks) - I'm still shocked by the longevity of this movie. And pleased.

Worst pick: Fantastic Four (#11, Chienfantome) - Who'da thunk a Marvel property could tank this bad?

Surprise pick: Hotel Transylvania 2 (#20, empire) - $169M for an animated sequel? Whew.

ROUND THREE:

Best pick: The Martian (#30, Chienfantome) - Sci-fi in October is the new trend, it would seem.

Worst pick: Pan (#21, empire) - Meh.

Surprise pick: Mad Max: Fury Road (#26, Brockster) - AND it was an Oscar darling!!

ROUND FOUR:

Best pick: Deadpool (#31, Chienfantome) - Damn you, Frenchie.

Worst pick: In the Heart of the Sea (#40, empire) - Not even Thor could save this one.

Surprise pick: The Jungle Book (#32, Spectre) - Sadly, the clock will run out before this one reaches it's full height, but wow.

ROUND FIVE:

Best pick: Straight Outta Compton (#50, Fucking Chien) - Gaaah.

Worst pick: The Walk (#43, aquamann) - $10M? That's it??

ROUND SIX:

Best pick: Creed (#53, SuperShaan)

Worst pick: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (#55, Brockster)

More later.

I'm in a position where I'm not sure if I should rethink my draft strategy this year or not. Although 13 out of my 16 picks underperformed and none of my movies really overperformed, I did survive the cut. The WALK Aghhh don't remind me. I thought Zemekis movies were safe picks.

I think it's safe to say you crushed it this year. Aside from F4 and Aloha, your biggest weakness was not being able to pick Star Wars. :P

I can't complain about how it all turned out for me. I even did a bit better than last year when I finished first. I had made just under 1.3 billion, this year I'm a bit above that. I hope I'll keep on improving this coming year ;)

How do you have 190 movies? Boxofficemojo doesnt even list that many including limited release movies that make nothing. How many of those 190 could make over 35 mil?
