I'm not so convinced. The last movie's performance was a complete surprise in terms of box office return, most Bond movies previous to this were falling into the $160m range. Skyfall succeeded because it was a very, very highly regarded film, and more so because it's competition was so inferior. For it's first month of release it's only competition really came from Twilight, and even that wasn't the same demographic, while everything else either bombed or was not even competition. It had miniscule drops week after week, even retaking top spot 5 weeks in such was the poor competition.
Spectre will require all of the goodwill from Skyfall as well as to receive hugely glowing reviews just to even come close to $300m, and that's totally disregarding the fact it will face much, much stronger competion from the likes of Hunger Games, The Martian, Creed, In The Heart of the Sea and of course Star Wars. Not saying it will not do well, just think there are movies out there with much safer track records that will probably hit $300m no problem, while Spectre will have to match Skyfall every step of the way to achieve that.
