Eddie the Eagle is an interesting premise (and perhaps a satire of inspirational sports movies) but it probably won't do well outside the UK. It should be a fun movie though.

And that is a lot of TBAs, UDM. I have realised from previous experience that while finding a diamond in the rough can be lucrative, it can also hamper your slate. That is four so far with still three rounds remaining...

yes i know, but i want to win. my thought process is, taking a guaranteed $20M film isnt going to get me anywhere. I can gamble on a film that has a much higher upside or they will be so arthouse that they will make $2M or less and then i'll be on the bottom with a better pick next year.

Sticking with 2016, but at least it has a release date, I will take Catfight. Still at script stage, but Mark Waters movies always have very fast turnarounds so not worried it will be ready on time. Returning to the bitchy high school setting is too good an opportunity to pass up going by his history of Mean Girls, Freaky Friday etc. Could explode.

In the last few rounds, I really wanted Me and Earl (it looks emotional and at least slightly different, like a lite Wes Anderson, and could actually surprise) and By the Sea.

Never thought of God's Not Dead 2, but that's a good pick.

Not so sure about The Lady in the Van and Zeroville, both of which may never go beyond a limited release.
