Haha ;) but seriously, I'm out of big movies on my slate with only modest potential stuff left and I don't really have that much left in theaters right now either. I just have to hope I don't run out of juice so badly that I get caught from behind (which is definitely possible).

Well, I daresay you're a shoe-in for Top 3, Spectre, which means you'll get promoted to Division A. I have to hope that my 2015 lineup has some punch to it, especially Jupiter Ascending and Get Hard.

If the projections can be believed, American Sniper is poised to have a huge opening and shatter January records with something in the neighbourhood of 50 million this weekend. Considering that Buscemi drafted it in the 13th round, it's looking like that was the single best pick anyone made at any point in the draft. Chien grabbed in the 9th round in Division A, which is still impressive, but 100 million plus in January from a 13th round pick is a real game-changer.

And I really feel guilty by making $90 million in blood money this week.

Shouldn't there be at least another $100 million on my end?

Yeah, Boosh, sorry. I'll update that sometime this week.

Damn, looks like my only chance to make Top 3 is to catch Ron B, since Boosh's big shot in the arm makes him almost uncatchable. I really need big bucks from Jupiter Ascending, Insidious 3 and Get Hard, or it looks like I'm staying in Division B. Dammit.

It also looks like Hunger Games will pass GOTG, so I can't be faulted for taking it at #1. Neighbors made great coin... where did I go wrong? Horrible Bosses 2 is really the only stinker I can see considering where I drafted it.

Horribly Bosses 2 bombed but that's not enough to sink you.

I think you actually took a big hit with Get Hard in Round 2. It was a good pick considering what was left but man, look at the stuff that went before it that round. You'll likely end up losing $50-$100M+ to most players which erases a lot of your Hunger Games advantage vs their 1st rounds.

Honestly, you had a good draft. Neighbors and The Purge: Anarchy were great picks. You had no more busts than the average player, it's just hard to contend with movies making $100M-$200M over projection (GotG and American Sniper) when you don't have any yourself and the box office is down as a whole.

I never drafted Focus, but I sure could use the extra 40 million, so I'll take it if Walleye doesn't want it.
