Re: 2014-15 Full Year Slates (Division A)
Make or break weekend for me. I need Cinderella to bring in the big bucks, like $200m cume just to have a shot at catching W and surviving in this league. I'm hopeful, but this year has thrown a lot of curveballs....
EDIT: Scratch that, I think I'm doomed. Aquamann has Furious 7 so he will probably stay ahead of me, meaning I have to catch Geezer, $300m ahead with Divergent still to come. Division B here I come!

Re: 2014-15 Full Year Slates (Division A)
Here's how I figure the final standings will be one month-plus from now:
1. Chien
2. Shaan
3. Banks
4. Tranny
5. Geezer
This is pretty much set in stone.
6-7. aquamann/undeadmonkey - Will depend on how well Furious 7 does.
8-9. empire/silversurfer
10. W
So empire, surfer and W will be demoted. By not replacing his four postponed/unreleased films, W has guaranteed himself the #1 pick in Division B. Diabolical!
So my predicted draft order for next year:
1-2. undeadmonkey/aquamann - (whoever loses the battle for sixth place in Div. A gets #1)
3. Geezer
4. transformers
5. JohnErle or Walleye (whoever earns 3rd place in Div. B)
6. Banks
7. Buscemi -
8-9. Shaan/Spectre (whoever has lower $ total will pick ahead of the other)
10. Chien
1. Chien
2. Shaan
3. Banks
4. Tranny
5. Geezer

Picking last next season will be one hell of a challenge. I'm jealous I won't be able to pick the big ones, but it will still be one fun game. Hey, I have one month to convince 9 guys to not pick Star Wars ahead of me !

Re: 2014-15 Full Year Slates (Division A)
Damn, I've been getting stuck in 3rd place for what feels like the last three seasons. I can't make it over the hump since winning way back in 2011/12.
The first four picks of next season are set in stone, the fun begins with W's pick.

The top four picks will probably be Avengers, Star Wars, Mockingjay and Batman v. Superman.

Hmmm... I might go with Minions over B vs. S, but otherwise, that's correct.

Batman v. Superman's could break The Hunger Games' March record (I'd be surprised if it didn't). Plus, more interest than Captain America: Civil War right now.
Minions has to face an original Pixar movie that looks much better (along with Max, the possible sleeper hit of the summer). And we already got the Minions movie with Despicable Me 2 (which only had to face a Pixar sequel that skewed older).

The sheer amount of flops and postponements... I don't think I could have drafted worse except for the first overall pick... I even replaced a few picks...
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

Yeah, except for Kingsman (a fantastic Round 7 pickup), your slate pretty much stunk up the joint. At least you get top pick next season. Choose well, grasshopper.W wrote:The sheer amount of flops and postponements... I don't think I could have drafted worse except for the first overall pick... I even replaced a few picks...
