How about this... there may be one more race up for grabs, and it's for #1.
As of Wednesday, Banks is $39M behind Tranny for first place. And whereas Tranny has pretty much exhausted all of his films, Banks still has the following still earning at least six figures:
Captain America
Oculus
Brick Mansions
Need For Speed
Can these four titles combine to give Banks the victory? Well, probably not. Captain America will probably earn around $15M, and Brick Mansions will top out around $10M. Oculus may be good for another $2M or so.
Damn, Banks... one more week and you might have pulled off the comeback.

I am in Korea Shryke ! I havent slept in 36hours, travelled 11 hours by plane and 4 and a half by bus, and here I am in a hotel at the other end of the world. I have already drunk tons of local alcohol soju, so I'm finally about to go to bed. Tomorrow, we'll be partying til the end of the night for a friend's wedding. I'm gonna fun in the coming days !

Projected Finishes:
1. Tranny, $1.275B
2. Banks, $1.262B
3. Chien, $1.147B
4. Geezer, $1.106B
5. Empire, $1.063B
6. UDM, $1.011B
7. W, $997M
8. Buscemi, $986M
9. Leestu, $905M
10. Shryke, $877M
Looks like there is now some distance between 6, 7 and 8. I would therefore make the suggestion that we can start on Sunday after all.

Jetlagged and drunk on Soju: this sounds like a perfect time to revise your draft list.Chienfantome wrote:I am in Korea Shryke ! No Dolphin Tale 2 is my #2 pick ! There is wifi everywhere here, so I think I should be able to connect once a day as long as I'm in a big city (but DON'T TELL MY GIRLFRIEND I'M DOING SO !!!)

Re: 2013-14 Full Year Slates (Division A)
I am going to set up the draft threads, but please, nobody post on them until we actually start drafting.
I think that the best time to call the current standings final are when Box Office Mojo announce the weekend projections, which is mid-morning on Sunday.
Let us tentatively state that the start time for the draft will be noon Pacific time (or about 25 hours exactly from the time of this post, if that helps you calculate the start time in your own time zone). I will send out an e-mail with this same information as well.

I think it's best everyone is on the same page re. start times, so if we follow this idea we all know when the draft begins. Plus, the point of waiting was so we could determine the final standings via the weekend estimates on BOM. I think we can all wait just another 18 hours, after all, Shryke's been waiting about 8 months or so...Shrykespeare wrote:Let us tentatively state that the start time for the draft will be noon Pacific time (or about 25 hours exactly from the time of this post, if that helps you calculate the start time in your own time zone).
