for wide releases i just use imdb or boxofficemojo

i just want to say, i do think shryke's way is almost as fair as random and if we do decide to do it that way its fine by me.

I just wouldn't want to see everyone being demoted from Division A picking ahead of all us sad sacks who've been in division B two years running. That seems like an unfair advantage being handed to people less in need of one. Something like this would be fine:

#1 Lowest ranking returning player from Divsion B
#2 Lowest ranking demotee from Division A
#3 Random Noob #1
#4 2nd Lowest ranking returning player from Division B

etc. etc.

This will probably stick me near the bottom, but it seems fair.
I'd be ok with this.

Between Shryke and JE I think those are two good as systems as any. I'll just be happy to get going when all is said and done. I'm in Division B no matter what, so just tell me my number and get ready to be impressed!

If you send it to me and Six with our different time zones the whole 24 hour period is covered.

For the record although I'm not bothered I think I'm slightly in favour of random. The positives to that system just give it the edge - especially the earlier start. But ultimately I believe the final decision should be Shryke's call as the 'admin'. Sometimes you just need someone to say this is how it's being done.

Does this mean I have to draft last again?

Yep, but that's what you get for winning the B Division!

This is like a strange dystopian society, where winning is punished and failure is rewarded. I guess I'll have to do it the hard way again...

Well think of it this way Shaan. Drafting last boosts your chances of winning. That's what this season taught us ;)

I'm not the one you should trade places with if you want to draft first ;)

Getting promoted to the A division is being "punished?" Do sports teams complain about drafting last when they win a championship? Of course not. They enjoy their title and expect to draft last. At least you get to draft last among the top dogs. Be happy you are taking someone's spot.

The winners of each year and the pick they had:

2010-2011: Buscemi (2nd pick)
2011-2012: ME! (2nd to last)
2012-2013: Tranny (2nd)
2013-2014: (Div. A) Tranny (last), (Div. B) YOU! (last)

Drafting at the beginning or end of the round seems to have the best chances of winning, it's those people picking in the middle who are at a disadvantage.
