Re: 2013-2014 Division B Waiver Wire
I will be interested to see how Philomena performs now. Although there was good support for it at the festivals, which is what prompted me to pick it up originally, I just haven't heard any buzz beyond that yet, certainly nothing near what the likes of 12 Years A Slave, Nebraska and other limited releases thus far. Perhaps there will be a push in a month or so, but I just have a feeling it will be swallowed by the Christmas movies and hardly make a dent. Hopefully, for my sake I will be proved right...
Re: 2013-2014 Division B Waiver Wire
Budapest will probably open better because of Anderson's built in fanbase, but Philomena has a chance for a really long run, so I figured it was worth the risk. We're six months into the game and there haven't been many potential blockbusters show up on the waiver wire, so I figured it was time to grab some more Oscar bait. A story about a mother's search for her long lost son definitely has potential to break out of the arthouses and bring in some mainstream audiences as well.

Single Moms has moved to March.
And will put Rathful (glad he's back in touch) down for Single Moms. Unless anyone bids who's higher on the waiver list.

I was on the phone with RP, and realized my mistake. He would now like the Tyler Perry movie, especially since Chavez may not go wide. SMC is pretty much guaranteed to.

The Maze Runner got bumped to September. Sucks. Guess I'll drop it and pick up Vampire Academy for the same date.

Rathful would like to drop Amityville Horror for Bears.
And you can probably remove The Frozen Ground from the WW, that film's been out on DVD for months now.
