Not sure why Foxcatcher isn't on the Wire list, but I'd like to put a bid in for it.

It just got a 12/20/13 limited release date.

I dropped it after I read Sony was shelving it so Carell wouldn't have to face the heavy Best Actor competition for the Oscars.

Meanwhile, I will reclaim it and drop Enough Said if successful (since I managed to be tricked by studio brass).

I'll put in a bid for Foxcatcher, dropping Empire State. Did we decide if a film moves, it goes back on waivers?

Because I couldn't get Foxcatcher back (that's going to be the last time I read about a film being shelved only to get a date shortly after), I will drop Enough Said and take Romeo and Juliet (which will surely go wide).

Okay, I didn't stake a claim for Parkland. According to the post, it cleared waivers at 6 A.M. central, so I should have been able to pick it up anytime after that without penalty, right? It should be as simple as dropping and picking something up from the list without affecting my waiver wire standing. Am I wrong, here?

So it did (I misread it as 8/18). I'll get to it.

So Jessebelle pushed back... marvelous... I guess I have enough films without a release date to start replacing them, I'll start with Jessebelle...
"The Wind Rises" has been on the waiver wire for way more than 48 hours so I guess I can pick it without losing my spot on the wire. I'll take it to replace Jessebelle.

Wise. I think Diana is going to bomb. Early reviews have been brutal!
