If you think that you may be away from your computer for a significant period of time, you can e-mail me or PM me a list of films that you want, and should your turn come up in your absence, I will make sure that the highest-ranked available film on your list will go to you.

This may be a surprise, but after it's disappointing reception last year I just don't have the confidence The Hobbit can exceed $230m. On the other hand, I think with the amount Monsters Inc. made back in 2001, coupled with the goodwill towards it, the inflated ticket price and 3D, as well as it just being Pixar, I think it's follow up could do very well, possibly exceeding $250m. So I choose...

I was considering Despicable Me 2 also, and I know it could come back to bite me in the ass, but I just think, with it coming out just a couple of weeks after Monsters Uni, that it may suffer from audience fatigue, especially after Epic also. There's only so much money parents will spend on movies for their kids, and I think usually the first big one out of the blocks is more successful.

And sixteen rounds should be fine.

Anyway, any chance your work colleague can post something soon, Shryke, or will we be waiting until you see him on Monday? If not, try to get him to submit a list of films when you see him.

Well, if no one else wants more than 16 rounds, I'll be fine. The reason I ask is because 16 rounds for 9 people gives a total of 144 films. It was only around then that the wide releases had run out. So we're going to have a much bigger waiver list.
