Based on this weekend's projections, it looks like the draft order is pretty solid. There may be some give and take of a few hundred thousand here and there, but otherwise, here is how it will finish:

1. transformers, $973M
2. Chien, $806M
3. Banks, $787M

4. UDM, $761M
5. leestu, $757M

Oblivion didn't hold quite as well as expected, but it was still enough for UDM to prevail.

6. Shryke, $713M
7. Buscemi, $711M
8. W, $629M
9. Geezer, $561M

10. empire, $542M
11. Surfer, $529M
12. Six, $523M

So Pain & Gain opened high enough for Surfer to catch Six, but not enough to catch Empire. So empire will get that #1 pick after all.

13. Ozzy, $486M
14. aquamann, $480M
15. John Erle, $343M
16. donnie, $322M

And thus, the draft order will indeed be:

Division A:
1. empire
2. Geezer
3. W
4. Buscemi
5. Shryke
6. leestu
7. UDM
8. Banks
9. Chien
10. Tranny

Division B:
1. JohnErle
2. aquamann
3. Ozzy
4. Six
5. Surfer
6. RathfulProphetic
7. SleepySkunk
8. Walleye
9. Shaan

If everyone is satisfied that the results are ironclad, we could start the draft at any time. As for the quarterly draft, I'm still waiting on a few pricing schemes before I solidify the prices.

Well, the clock shouldn't start until Monday since that was what we decided, but if anyone wants to put their picks in early, we can start whenever.

Yeah, I have no issue with starting ASAP, obviously that Division A spot is out of reach, so I'll have to deal with fifth spot on the draft. Not ideal at all...

I'm down to start whenever as well, but if we can't get it started till Monday that's completely fine with me too.

I would stick with the Monday start, only because we can't guarantee everyone will know we started it early. Even if we posted it on Facebook, there's bound to be a couple of people who are busy this weekend.

And I'd hate for someone to lose their first round pick because everyone decided to start early after all agreeing on Monday for the past week.

I'm ready whenever this needs to start.
Picking 9th will be interesting, I never picked so low in the yearly draft.

I'd be willing to make my first pick and post date it to Monday. In other words, we could get as many draft picks out of the way as possible this weekend without starting the clock until a set time on Monday. How does that sound?

Exactly, why can't those who are online post their picks in order, but if someone hasn't noticed we've started/ can't do so until Monday we just hold the draft up without them losing a spot.

Congratulations Tranny ! A victory we all saw coming all year long, we desperatly chased you all along without ever having a chance to catch you back.
Interesting to see that besides you little #1 pick, you only had 1 other film making more than $60M !

As for my 2nd place :D :D :D

Yeah, congrats Tranny... for having first pick ;)

And well done to you Chien, as in advance your slate doesn't look like it could hit #2. Lincoln served you well.

I learned from this year to not get excited about unreleased films. I got burned by a few of them when I could have picked up mid-range flicks. Won't be making the same mistake this year.
