I agree. It feels more like a prestige awards winner. May get bumped to Sept/OCt. Or else there's now a perception (thanks to Fast and Furious) that April has more potential for hits and everyone is trying to tap into that.

Maybe, although it seems that only blockbuster films like Fast Five could break out at the end of April. But who knows ?

Butter was removed from the list due to the Oscar qualifying run. I may put it back in if the list gets a bit short (and some people still need to replace titles). Same with Rampart, if anyone wondered about it (it will have an Oscar run on November 23rd before a January 27th wide date).

I'll accept the others though.

Exactly when does this league end? At the end of May? Won't we have to determine the draft order for the next league prior to that so that we can do our picks (which will probably take 1-2 weeks)?

The league runs until April 29th.

But that only gives us a short time to determine a draft order and, following that, a draft. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Most of the outcomes will have been determined by then. It won't be as bad as it sounds.

The same thing happened last year. I think maybe one position changed but they were pretty close. I had similar reservations at the time but it went by ok, so I don't think it will be an issue.

It was a bigger problem last year, due to Fast Five's huge OW. I don't think we'll have to deal with anything like that this year.
