Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Okay, so are we going to do this as agreed? We'll make changes on Sunday?
Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Bousch, how come the wire order is the same as the round 14 draft. Shouldn't it be the opposite?

I'm doing it how W did it last year. Just standard procedure.

Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Don't think it's very fair to have the same order as the last round. Doesn't make sense to me as it's inherently unfair. Can we agree that this should be changed?
Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Well, first off, I don't really care which way we do it. But, the reasoning for this order is that this is the order of the people who got last crack at the movies that matter most and it has helped in the past to more even out the rosters. I believe it's fair this way, because it's what we've done from day one and it more evens out the rosters, like I said. I also believe the other ways discussed were fair as well, except the one where people who got first crack at the best films get first crack at the waivers.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.
Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Yeah, okay, that makes sense W. I'm happy to start with the order as per the above. And then whenever someone picks a film they get dropped to the bottom.

There were some other TBA films I had on my list, should I add those or does it really matter?

Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
Yeah, I never had an issue with picking last, so that order is fine by me. However, in the next round, even if someone decided to pass on a movie does the order switch or does that person stay top of the draft until they do pick a movie?
Also, trying to remember a couple of films that were on my list:
Rampart
Shame
Can't remember anymore off the top of my head, though a few of six's list were on mine too.

Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
I don't think Nailed will ever be finished, much less released. I'm sure Russell will make sure it never sees the light of day.
But here are some more from my list:
Hick
Playing The Field
Machine Gun Preacher
Bellflower
Jeff Who Lives At Home
Goon
Another Bullshit Night In Suck City
M
Untitled Pee Wee Herman Film
and the obligatory trio of Nic Cage movies:
Trespass
Medallion
The Hungry Rabbit Jumps
and one with a release date:
Snow Flower & The Secret Fan

Actually, Nailed is currently testing and looking for a distributor. Russell may have his name removed from it but it is getting released.

Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
I got everything except for Poltergeist (which has been pushed to 2013), Untitled Pee Wee Herman Film (which is on hold due to Herman's stage show) and Medallion (which probably won't be out before the end of the season). I also considered adding Moonrise Kingdom but I think it will be held back until next May.

Re: 2011-12 Full Year Free Agent List
I could see Moonrise Kingdom coming out for an award season. So it'll either be rushed out for this November, or most likely October/Nov 2012
