I was kind of jealous of your audacity with those gambles when you made them Surfer, so I wouldn't feel too bad about it. I think maybe the mistake was to make those gambles (Extremely, Iron Lady, Young Adult) too early in the rounds. As for John Carter, well, we all thought it was a decent pick, didn't we ? ;)

Wow. Banks has a shot at WINNING this thing. Who'd have thunk that at the end, the output of The Three Stooges would actually be relevant?!

Here's something unbelievable... The Hunger Games was grabbed by Banks at the END OF THE THIRD ROUND (32nd pick).

Here are some of the films that were picked AHEAD OF IT:

Hugo
Adventures of Tintin
Happy Feet 2
Crazy Stupid Love
The Zookeeper
Winnie the Pooh
Mr. Popper's Penguins

Way to go, Banks... you got the movie-draft equivalent of Mike Piazza.

I don't think Banks will make it, not with $100m to make up the gap. Hunger Games is good for another $75m I'd say, and American Reunion for another $40m if it's lucky. But by then W should have picked up another 10-15m from Wrath of the Titans and even if 3 Stooges only makes $20m in total, W will be ahead by $20-$30m. Close, but no cigar.

With the amount of theatres The Three Stooges is getting (3,400), it could open to $20 million.
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

I think I should be able to take Chien with ease, so my next target is six. Unlikely, but certainly possible. After my prestige movies flopping I'd be satisfied with 5th.

I'm afraid you won't have any problem taking my spot Surfer... and wouldn't it be cool to see you pass Six and making him end up... sixth ? ;)
