It opened yesterday, so no.

Meanwhile, I have to imagine that it will drop massively today. The July 4th opening, combined with Tuesdays being cheap days, might have inflated interest in a film that would have otherwise been a day-and-date title.

The pre-January 1st rule of no adding or dropping a title 2 weeks before its release is in effect, so it's a double no-go

While I have no idea just how steep it will be, there should be at least somewhat of a significant drop between yesterday and today as it had a full slate of Monday shows rolled into its opening day figure. Still, underestimate this movie at your own peril. I'm in an area that's not exactly overflowing with Republicans and/or Evangelicals and it's doing insane business at most of the theaters around here through at least Friday night.

I get that Angel Studios have developed a following with The Chosen but their previous non-Chosen project opened mildly on Easter before dropping quickly. That was an Old Testament-themed movie so I guess it didn't appeal to the Christian nationalists or violence-loving psychos the way Sound of Freedom does.
