$800M cleared, I'll cross 1 billion with my remaining 2018 films, Instant Family's good holds, and A Star is Born award season cash.

Thank you Miles Morales. No thank you whatever your name is, Mortal Engines' character.
I didn't expect a hit out of Mortal Engines, but still, OUCH. I think I have a weak spot when picking my #5 film in the draft, as every year, I pick a dud in that round, but this year is the worst of all I think. Fortunately my #2, #3 and #4 were rock solid.

Universal better expand Green Book this week or next. I think it's got another $25 million in the tank after its Golden Globes success (and apparently, it still hasn't hit some smaller markets).

And I'll join the billion club next week.
Reaching the billion should mean we're locked for Division A next season, problem is for me I'm running out of gas. I may have another 50/60 millions left with my current released films (well, essentially Spidey), but then I only have two films left on my slate to be released in April, and they won't be the biggest ones. So I guess at best I have another 150 millions left in the tank.
Walleye doesn't have that much advance, but he's still got several films to be released, and even if they are not huge ones, should be enough to be out of reach for me. Jas is gonna surge in the last few weeks, big time. I should finish ahead of Boosch. Six probably will end up ahead.
My goal is to keep on my good streak of finishing on the podium, but I'm not sure. I'm thinking it might end up like this :
1. Jas
2. Walleye
3. A battle between myself and Six.

If I make it 3rd I'd be overjoyed. Since losing my #2 pick (and my #8) I've been playing just to stay in the league, but luckily Bohemian Rhapsody overperformed and The Mule is doing good business for me too. And now Glass is looking to make $125m+, so I'm certain to join the billionaires' club. I don't think my remaining 5 films after Glass have much in them, with the exception of Hellboy which at best will be a midlevel success. I'm thinking I'll end up with final amount of 1.05- 1.08 billion in the end. That should keep me in the A-league at least.
