STANDINGS (up until August 28th included)
Without surprise, Samaritan didn't report, so Shryke, you should pick a film to replace it.
Slow week, obviously, after a slow weekend at the box-office. Ron was once again the one climbing the most, having the 2 wide releases of the week, but they were weak ones, so Six is still far above. And next week won't make much of a difference ! September will see Walleye and Screen hoping to double cross Shryke. TShey should. But which one of them will end up second at the end of the month ?

1. Chien - $821,353,673 (3 films - Easter Sunday, Nope, Top Gun Maverick)
2. Shryke - $471,112,811 (1 film - Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris)
3. Walleye - $451,220,184 (3 films - Mack & Rita, DC League of Super Pets, Jurassic World Dominion)
4. Screen - $438,552,236 (3 films - Emily The Criminal, Thor 4, The Black Phone)
5. Spectre - $374,821,130 (2 films - Beast, Minions : Rise of Gru)
6. Six - $235,151,317 (2 films - Bullet Train, Elvis)
7. Ron B - $168,616,085 (3 films - Dragonball Super, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Lightyear)
8. Tranny - $86,065,307 (2 films - Vengeance, Where the Crawdads Sing)
8. Buscemi - $49,674,514 (1 film - Marcel The Shell)

9/2 :
Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul. (Walleye, 10th round)

9/9 :
Barbarian (Screen, WW)
Brahmastra Part One (Walleye, 7th round)

9/16 :

STANDINGS (up until September 18th included)

Sorry I wasn't able to keep up with the last couple of weekends, but now I'm sick at home I have some time to catch up ! And there has been some interesting movements ! The battle for second place is intense. Shryke lost it and dropped two places to 4th, seeing Walleye and especially Screen gain momentum. Screen only has his already opened films to keep up, but Walleye and Shryke already have some newcomers waiting to arrive. Will they be enough to challenge Screen's spot ?

If it hits or exceeds that number, there's the potential for a very interesting battle shaking out between you, Chien and myself. It could end up coming down to whether or not D&D pads Chien's lead enough to fend off Avatar and the Fury of the Gods/Super Mario combo I have in the spring.

I loved my slate months ago, but I lost too many films, and the ones that stayed were... hum... disappointments. Losing my films #3, 5 and 6 hurt my perspectives. So yeah, basically, I'm betting it all on D&D now. At least Paramount is on a roll and has already been promoting the film intensively for a while now. But your Shazam / Mario combo is much more promising, and who knows how high will the blue guys go.
