Someone needs to compare our late round picks with previous years. I swear we've done way better this year than normal.

Holy schnikes, y'all. "Ralph" broke the holiday, and "Creed" is overindexing like CRAZY.

Time to call it: Man, was I wrong about 2018, a year I thought would see a bevy of big-budget busts. (Amazing acts of alliteration!)

Also, Banks, you're gonna KILL it in this game's second half. Just sayin'. :)

Well, Creed 2 should easily outdo the original's gross - hopefully it'll have the legs to get to $125M-$130M before its knocked out of theaters in December.

As long as Mary Poppins can do $300M, Spider-Man does $100M, and the combo of Marwen/Second Act can get close to $75M, I'd be satisfied. Could be enough to propel me into the Top 3.

Mary Poppins and Spider-Man will duke it out for families over the holiday, but either way, I win!

Don't think I've ever had a billion dollar slate in this game.

I figure if Bumblebee can do $100M, Pet Sematary can pull at least $50M, that means all the remaining films on my list only need $50M between them. Not sure if Top 3 is feasible, but stranger things have happened.

Maybe Bumblebee can be this year's Jumanji...

Based on early buzz, Mary Poppins or Aquaman could be this year's Jumanji.

Mary Poppins is the big film of the hols. Aquamann should do okay but it won't be close.

Yeah, I think "Mary Poppins" could do $250M. "Aquaman" will PROBABLY surpass $225M but it may not have the holding power necessary. "Poppins" will still be in the Top Ten in early February, is my guess.

I don't understand why Mary Poppins is getting so much attention both box office and awards-wise. It looks to have the exact same plot as Christopher Robin (childhood friend coming back to save the family) and that ended up with mixed reviews and disappointing box office.

Also, are today's children familiar with the original?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Auquman is going to fail. I could very well be wrong, but really think it's going to go the way of Justice League
