Sometimes having kids really fucks with my perception for how movies will do. My son and all his friends LOVE Teen Titans Go. I thought it was worth the risk. Boy was I wrong!

$10M in Thursday night previews means that "Halloween" ought to, finally, give my slate a bona fide hit. (I'm looking at you, "Tag", and "Hereditary".) :D

I'm surprised it even made that. Sony didn't promote the film and at least one media market (Milwaukee) didn't even screen the film. This shouldn't have even grossed $5 million the way it was dumped out there.

I really thought The Oath would at least go wide at some point, and cash in on the election season.
