Damn you Brockster, I was certain you were gonna grab that cat movie with Kevin Spacey as the very first pick. What went wrong ?

Ah, well... I'll take Pete's Dragon.

I don't think they cast the cat very well and because of that I'm not sure it will get to 100M!

Gutsy first pick for a movie that will probably never reach #1, Chien.

I'll take The Magnificent Seven.

It might not reach #1, but box-office history has proven that a strong film released in early August can stick around til mid-september for Top 5 points, that's why I took it ahead of Magnificent 7. Besides if the film is as lovely as the reviews suggest, it could have fantastic legs. had it been BO, I might have grabbed Seven, but in ultimate, I'm sure it's Pete's Dragon is gonna do marvels.

I've emailed Banks. If he hasn't responded in the next six hours, we will skip him.
